PE – Polyethylen

PE (Polyethylen), unterteilt in LDPE und HDPE, ist ein flexibles und weiches Material mit guter Chemikalienbeständigkeit. Es ist aufgrund seiner hohen Elastizität sehr stabil und aufgrund seiner Temperaturbeständigkeit kann PE auch für Tiefkühlanwendungen eingesetzt werden. Darüber hinaus weist PE eine ausgezeichnete Siegelfähigkeit auf.

PE

Hohe Temperaturbeständigkeit. Da das Material nicht splittert, ist es sehr einfach zu bearbeiten. PE weist eine hohe Schlagfestigkeit auf, wodurch dieses Material für viele Anwendungen geeignet ist.

HMPE

Hat eine bessere Verschleißbeständigkeit und Schlagfestigkeit als das Standard-PE.

 

HDPE

Wird mit einem niedrigen Druck hergestellt. Dadurch behält das Ethylen seine Härte.

LDPE

Wird unter hohem Druck hergestellt. Dadurch entsteht ein weiches, zähes, starkes und vor allem geschmeidigeres Ethylen.
