Recycling process accelerated
Plastirol

With a focus on sustainability and a more efficient recycling process, two important investments have recently been made. Since this year, both Redisol and Plastirol Belgium have new machines that contribute to greater recycling capacity and further quality improvement.
New grinding machine at Redisol
A new grinding machine was put into operation at Redisol at the beginning of this year. Thanks to this expansion, we can process a significantly larger recycling flow. This strengthens our contribution to the closed-loop recycling process, in which film waste is reused to produce new, recycled plastic. Our closed-loop system ensures that waste is immediately reused as raw material for products of the same type.
New extruder at Plastirol Belgium
Plastirol Belgium has also invested in a new extruder, which was recently successfully installed and is now running at full capacity. This machine efficiently produces high-quality plastic film. The extruder offers an output that is up to 50% higher than the previous generation. In addition, the new technology enables a greater processing capacity of recycled material and ensures a noticeable improvement in the quality of the end product.
Sustainable progress
Both investments reinforce our ambition to achieve a completely closed recycling loop. By continuing to innovate in machinery and processes, we are making a concrete contribution to a circular plastics chain in which quality, efficiency and sustainability go hand in hand.
