Sustainability and the environment are of great importance to Hagedorn Plastirol. We are constantly looking for new options and materials to actually reduce CO2 emissions. Our expertise and experience enable us to develop new products quickly. For example, we recently developed a new, unique L-PS ESD ECO material. A 100% Post-Industrial Waste (PIW) Polystyrene which is combined with carbon black (carbon) particles.
Through the correct use of closed-loop recycle flows and extrusion processes (in accordance with IEC 61430), Hagedorn Plastirol has succeeded in developing a unique ESD ECO product for applications such as transport trays or electronic packaging. When developing these types of innovative materials, we always work from the 5R principle: reduce, reuse, recycle, replace & replant. Based on this philosophy, we arrived at a high-quality and stable ESD material made from 100% recycled polystyrene.
